| 12. Vacancies on executive council |

| (a) |
The EC shall have power at any time to appoint any member of the Federation to fill any casual vacancy on the Executive Council until the next AGM. |
| (b) |
The continuing members of the EC may act not withstanding any casual vacancy in the EC, but if and so long as their number is reduced below the number fixed by or pursuant to these Rules as the necessary quorum of the EC, the continuing member or members may act for the purpose of increasing the number of members of the EC to that number or of summoning a general meeting of the Federation, but for no other purpose. |
